Shot and edited by Ryan Davis! This is one of my favorite videos so far this year! Overall Florida was really fun. Not ever visiting the state of Florida before I did not know what to expect. Except for alligators and really hot weather! The track layout was pretty simple so it gave me the opportunity to start trying different things like reverse entries. I qualified 19th and was paired up against 14th place qualifier Ryan Tuerck for top32. Unfortunately my first run of top32 practice Saturday morning(1 hour before I was to battle Tuerck) I explode 3rd gear in my z33 gear box. We rush the car back into the pits and myself, my dad and my mechanic Jun starting going to work. I was disappointed I missed all of practice. But luckily we were able to get the new spare gear box back into the car right in time for me to battle Tuerck. I chased first and had to make a correction following Tuerck because I fell out of boost. On my lead run I threw it in super hard on initiation, Tuerck stayed back and ran shallow(told me he thought I was going to spin afterwards haha) behind me. But unfortunately my lead run wasn’t enough to overcome the correction I made against him on my chase!
